From blank page to finished resume in three steps

No account, no software to install. Here's exactly what happens when you use DevCV.

Three steps, start to finish

Each step maps to one panel on the builder page — nothing hidden behind extra screens.

01

Fill in your details

Open the builder and work down the form: name, title, contact info, a short professional summary, your education history, work experience, and a comma-separated list of skills. Every field is optional, so you can preview early and fill in the rest as you go.

02

Preview instantly

Click "Preview CV" and the right-hand panel renders a fully formatted resume using exactly what you typed — headline, summary, experience, education, and skill tags, all laid out and ready to read. Keep editing and click again to update it as many times as you like.

03

Print or save as a PDF

When it looks right, click "Print / Save CV." This opens your browser's native print dialog with the site chrome hidden, showing only the clean resume. Choose "Save as PDF" as the destination and you've got a file ready to attach to any application.

What actually happens when you click "Preview"

No servers, no databases, no accounts — just your browser doing the work.

Runs entirely client-side

JavaScript reads the values straight out of the form fields and writes them into the preview panel. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Re-renders on demand

Each click of "Preview CV" re-reads every field and rebuilds the resume from scratch, so stale data never lingers on screen.

Print styles kick in automatically

The "Print / Save CV" button calls your browser's print function, and dedicated print styles hide the navigation and layout chrome for a clean page.
